1 Day SOFIA – PLOVDIV
Arrival in Sofia Airport, meeting upon arrival and transfer to Plovdiv (by the possibilities visit of the Rila Monastery near Sofia and Wine Cellar Pamidovowww.pamidovo.com on the road near Plovdiv ).Visit of the Todoroff cellar in Brestovitsa www.todoroff-wines.com village, situated 18km from Plovdiv. It is the first boutique cellar in Bulgaria, the inheritor of rich culture, traditions and inspiration, coming back from the centuries. The visit includes: wine tasting with appropriate appetizers ,walk trough the cellar and a lecture for the history of all types of wine, myths and legends, the technology of producing and storing wine, a folklore program, dinner with local culinary specialties. Back to Plovdiv for accommodation in the hotel and overnight.
2 Day PLOVDIV – POMORIE
Breakfast. Sight-seeing in Plovdiv. Departure to Assenovgrad to visit the Wine plant Assenovgrad www.mavrud.com It is an inheritor of the vinery cooperation named „Stanimashki mavrud“ founded in 1947. Through the growing of winery source base the enterprise has been developed permanently. One of the most valuable hystorical events is assumed to be the year of 1958 when the new wine cellar for grape processing of 6 million liters capacity in valume had been set up. Furthermore the first installation of termal processing and stabilization of wines as well as the line for wine bottling had been constructed during 1963.Lunch in the restaurant St Kirik near to Assenovgrad. Visit of the Bachkovo Monastery. Departure to Pomorie.
On the road visit the Wine cellar Edoardo Miroglio www.emiroglio-wine.com wich is situated in the region of the village of Elenovo, 15 kilometers apart from the city of Nova Zagora. Since the times of the Tracians till nowadays, the only occupation in the region has been the cultivation of grapes and the production of wine. Many ancient authors praised the Tracian wine, the recipes for which were passed from father to son for generations. Proceed to Sliven to visit one of the biggest wineries in Bulgaria with an annual capacity of about 80 million kg of grapes, 3 bottling lines, and 3000 barrels. The biggest cellar, the bottling facilities, and the administration of VINI www.vini.bg are located in the town of Sliven, which lies at the southern foothills of the Balkan Range and to the east of the Valley of Roses. On the road to Pomorie stop for wine tasing in one of the cellars of Karnobat wine plant www.vino.start.bg Accommodation and dinner at Interhotel Pomorie. Overnight.
3 Day POMORIE – SHUMEN
Breakfast.Walk in Pomorie. Degustation in Vinery Via Pontika www.festa.bg and meeting with menager or the owner.Departure to Shumen.On the road stop for lunch in Kyulevtsha village near to Shumen in a typical bulgarian restaurant( with folklore programme). Arrival in Shumen to visit Vinery Domaine Boyar www.domaineboyar.com .It is situated in the premier white wine region of Bulgaria, though recently its excellent red wines have also won a number of medals at international wine fairs. Domaine Boyar bought the 50 year old winery in 1996 and invested heavily in the development of cutting edge winemaking practices. You will drive past the vineyards in the region on your way to the winery. Some of them supply the grapes for our award-winning wines such as Chardonnay, Traminer, Muscat and the Bulgarian’s to-die-for Rakia. Accommodation and dinner in hotel Bohemi. Overnight.
4 Day SHUMEN – VELIKO TARNOVO
Breakfast.Presentation in Vinex Preslav www.vinex.bg near Shumen. After that proceed to Veliko Tarnovo. 10 km to Veliko Tarnovo stop for visiting Lyaskovets Vinery www.winery.lyaskovec.com where you will have wine tasting,lunch with folk programme.After that visit of the Petropavlovo monastery. Arrival in Veliko Tarnovo and accommodation in Grand hotel Yantra. Degustation and dinner in Vinpalas www.vinpalas.hit.bg with programme included. Overnight.
5 Day VELIKO TARNOVO – SOFIA
Breakfast in the hotel. Sight-seeing in Veliko Tarnovo, walk through old and extremеly picturesque Veliko Tarnovo – the medieval Town of Tarnovo was the capital of Bulgaria during the 12th – 14th centuries period and included the castles situated on the Tzarevetz, the Trapezitza, the Momina Krepost and the Sveta Gora Hills and the downtown (the outer suburb).Transfer to Sofia. Sight-seeing of Sofia the capital of Bulgaria in the time before the flight. Transfer to Sofia Airport.

The largest exhibition in the industry of the Balkans was organized by International Fair Plovdiv, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria, in cooperation with the National Vine and Wine Chamber.
